Basically, the language they use on the continent is basically based off cursive English, but with minor differences. If Vangeance were to ever write something in his mother tongue, then English-speakers could probably squint and kinda-sorta parse it, probably? We never hear what the language sounds like when spoken, obviously, but I'm just gonna assume it sounds kinda like a bastardized romance language.
From what I can tell, the lettering system is far less consistent in the manga so I'm happy to just handwave and say the system in the anime is pretty much accurate.
