CHARACTER
NAME: William Vangeance.
CANON: Black Clover.
CANON POINT: Around chapter 134 (including the light novels), the morning of the day the Royal Knights invade the Eye of the Midnight Sun's base.
BACKGROUND: Wiki link!
SUITABILITY:
The crux of Vangeance's character is centered around a difficult moral choice, and he's also canonically had to deal with being possessed long-term!
In canon, he's placed in a situation where he's forced to choose between two of his loved ones to ally himself with, where those two people are diametrically opposed but each have their own valid beliefs. Ultimately, Vangeance takes the cowardly route and asks that they make the choice for him by duking it out between themselves, even knowing he'll almost certainly lose his own life during that process. So I'd be interested in forcing him to actually make those difficult moral choices in Slumscape, where he might not be able to choose that easy (and dirty) way out.
Regarding his possession, Vangeance has hosted a second soul in his body pretty much since birth, and thus is almost entirely at peace with it. Not to mention, that soul was someone very weak and wounded, and from a very young age, he took it upon himself to protect it; due to an incredibly lonely and somewhat brutal childhood, that entity served as his only reason for living for the first half of his life, and he loved it unconditionally. So I'd be really interested in him being possessed by something new and different (and probably malicious) in Slumscape, and maybe realizing that it's kiiiind of messed up for him to have always been okay with lending his body out to another entity.
QUESTIONNAIRE:
YOUKAI: Kitsune.
INVENTORY: Just the clothes on his back (his usual Golden Dawn uniform and his hideous helmet-mask), with his grimoire (now just a regular hardcover book listing the magic spells he knows) in its book-pouch strapped to his belt. He has a pouch of coins and a communication device (basically a magic-based screenless cellphone, now useless) tucked into his pockets.

QUESTIONNAIRE:
● Your character finds an injured okami deep in the woods. Its leg is broken, trapped under a fallen tree, but it’s clearly in good health otherwise. They know this type of youkai is able to discern the morality of their past actions, and can turn hostile to them based off that judgment. What do they do?
---
He would steel himself for an attack -- depending on what he has on hand and/or his surroundings, either trying to protect his vitals or preparing to skedaddle as soon as the okami is free -- but step in to help free it.
Vangeance considers himself something loathsome -- a man who's hurt his allies a great deal thanks to his own indecisiveness, slowly betraying the people who've placed great trust in him, unable to choose between his loved ones and thus prepared to let them fight to the death in the most cowardly fashion -- so he'd take it for granted that the okami would turn hostile. But those are his own circumstances, and to let another living being suffer just because he selfishly wants to keep himself safe would be unjust. Thus, he'd step in to try and help the okami regardless.
Though he isn't looking to be a martyr, Vangeance would feel that hostility from the okami would simply be a justified consequence of his actions. It's something he should be prepared for, and possibly have to accept in a worst-case scenario, but it shouldn't make him compromise his morals (any more than they've already been compromised) or force another being to suffer.
(There's also the question of if the okami would even be hostile in the first place. Arguably, all of Vangeance's transgressions are a result of his devotion to and empathy towards his loved ones being too strong. So a very soft-hearted okami might be willing to let him slide ... ? Though Vangeance wouldn't even consider that possibility, and simply assume that he'll be attacked once the okami is free.)
Not to mention, Vangeance is highly sympathetic towards the pain of others, kindhearted by nature, and he seems to have a minor affinity for nature and animals. He'd be pretty weak to the sight of an okami caught in such a situation, and wouldn't be able to just ignore it.
In a truly dire situation (if he were already injured/weak, or if the okami looks like it's strong enough to 100% kill him upon being freed), he'd consider seeking out the most morally upright person he knows to ask them to help instead, but ... that would be a last-resort situation, because he knows most humans have their own demons and he wouldn't want anyone else to risk their safety for an arguably "trivial" (perhaps trivial to others, not trivial to the okami) matter.

● Your character's worst enemy asks to meet alone by moonlight in a remote location, to discuss temporarily banding together against a larger threat. How do they respond to the invitation?
---
He would accept it, but take precautions.
It's hard to say exactly who Vangeance's worst enemy is (other than arguably himself), but most people who would consider him an enemy are either enemies of his nation or criminals. Thus, he wouldn't be so naive as to meet with them without taking precautions -- bringing along some method of self-defense, asking for a trusted ally to keep in touch and/or wait nearby, scouting the location beforehand for dangerous elements, etc. Nothing that would directly breach the terms of the invitation, but skirting close to it.
But he's also accustomed to the idea of making alliances for the sake of a greater cause. He belongs to the Order of Magic Knights in his homeland, where the different brigades sometimes have strained relationships amongst themselves but will still unite in order to defend the Kingdom. Also, though it isn't an explicit canon occurrence for him, given Vangeance's long career as a Knight, he's probably at least open to the possibility of working with defectors from other nations or reformed criminals. So if there's a chance that this enemy of his can offer some significant help towards dealing with a greater threat, then Vangeance is willing to take the risk of meeting them in private.
This is, of course, assuming the 'greater threat' is something that's dangerous to others, and thus dealing with it would help keep people safe. The more Vangeance feels that acquiescing to this meeting would help keep others safe, the more risk he would be willing to take to meet with them. After all, Vangeance has sworn himself to the cause of protecting the people (mostly of the Clover Kingdom, but also in general), and he would consider it his duty to take on that personal risk if it would be for the benefit of others.

● Your character has the option to lead a rampaging oni away from path where it would find and attack a lone, inhabited farmhouse. However, the only road they can distract it down leads to the city, where it will inevitably do more damage. What do they choose to do?
---
As much as it would pain him, Vangeance would choose not to lead the oni away from its path. Though he's highly sympathetic to people's pain and tries his best to help as many people as possible, he is, in the end, a career soldier who's accustomed to the possibilities of death and loss. And while every single life is precious, he wouldn't be able to rationalize the risk of deliberately leading the oni to a more crowded area, where it might harm even more people.
Instead, he would focus on tactical maneuvers. Even without his magical abilities, Vangeance does have a decade of experience as a Knight behind him, so he'd try to find ways to slow the oni down -- causing obstructions in its path, obscuring visibility with smoke, maybe trying to distract it with something back from the way it came. That done, he would focus on either trying to cut ahead of the oni to evacuate the farmhouse's inhabitants (saving their lives, at least, even if their property might be a loss) or, in a worst scenario if the oni is too fast to outrun, trying to raise some sort of signal for help so that other people can assist in stopping the oni before he wrecks even more havoc after attacking the farmhouse.

● A shrine of a powerful god offers your character a unique boon crafted to overcome the biggest challenge they’re currently facing. In return, it only asks to be able to possess your character for a 24 hour span of its choosing, which they will not necessarily get warning for. How do they feel about the exchange, and more importantly, do they accept it?
---
The short answer: he'd be briefly tempted by the offer, but in the end, he'd refuse pretty decisively.
Vangeance would believe that the risks of letting a god control him fully for 24 hours -- specifically, the harm that might be caused to others, if a god were given free reign for such a significant amount of time -- would be too significant to incur for selfish reason.
Not to mention, if he's facing some sort of challenge, he'd feel like he's personally responsible for overcoming it; he should be focusing on bettering himself and finding a solution instead of relying on external help in order to conquer any difficulties he faces. Vangeance is pretty averse to one-sidedly seeking aid from others (as opposed to cooperating, which he's totally fine with) due to a variety of factors -- an achingly lonely childhood, a quiet but deep disillusionment towards humanity, the complicated circumstances surrounding his second soul that he'd always had to keep hidden, and in recent years, the tremendous prestige of his rank as Knight Captain that requires him to maintain a tight control on his image. Thus, he'd consider this offer of a boon as something to be taken only under truly dire circumstances.
But a longer answer is that there are caveats that might make him change his mind. For example, if the god vowed that those 24 hours wouldn't entail any harm to third parties and would only affect Vangeance himself, then he might accept -- that's a risk he feels might be worth taking, especially if the challenge he's facing is one that might affect other people, and conquering it might be better for them. Another caveat is the challenge itself: if failing at it would negatively affect a significant number of people, or absolutely devastate a good person, then Vangeance would either hesitate more significantly in declining the offer or reluctantly take it. He'd take the risk of possibly harming others further down the line during his possession, then accept full responsibility for whatever happens during those 24 hours.
One last factor is that Vangeance might voluntarily offer himself up to be possessed without demanding any payment, as long as the possession was in shorter stints and he could call it off when necessary. It would be the offer of a partnership rather than a hard deal, trying to earn the god's goodwill, so that maybe the god deigns to grant him a similar boon in the future without the strict 24-hour possession pricetag.
Ultimately, the decision would come down to weighing the risks and benefits it would bring to others. He doesn't mind paying a hefty price as long as it's localized just to himself, but the more selfish the benefit, the less he'd be inclined to take it; he's always taken his responsibilities with the utmost gravity, and that includes bettering himself to better serve others, and relying on third parties is only to be considered if the benefits (to others) far outweighs the cost (to others).
